About Me

I retired after spending 20 years serving as a law enforcement officer in a big city. I went on to get a Master's degree in Professional Counseling and another in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am dually licensed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Texas. My husband is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Paramedic. He has worked in hospitals, fire departments and as a flight medic and has taught me a lot about those various work environments. We have a blended family of two teenage boys, two teenage girls, three dogs and two cats.
